Duncan is not known to have exhibited any pure landscape paintings. This drawing is clearly by the same hand as 2014.207, 2014.208 and 2014.211 and like the latter two, this one has had its authorship queried. The ghost image of 2014.211 is evident on the verso of this sketch. There are also colour note references including “very bright” at lower right. The provenance is strongly in favour of them being by Duncan.
