An identically titled piece was exhibited at the RSA in 1838, catalogue number 243, it appears to have been exhibited at the RSA again in 1846 catalogue number 1 as part of Duncan's memorial display and appears to have been available for sale as an annotated price of 60 guineas has been inscribed next to it in the catalogue
