'The piece is entitled 'Construction - San Gimignano'/ and was completed in 1994 when I/ made drawings in the countryside near/ San Gim.- a kind of 'Rustic Temple'/ made from odds and ends, to hold goats or/ chickens I think, but with pillars and/ a 'pediment' shape which attracted me'.Barbara Balmer's letter to Bill Scott (?) 2005-06-23.
