Artist: Reeves, Philip Thomas Langford, RSA PPRSW RGI RE · 1931-2017

Inspired by a flight of concrete steps flanked by concrete lattice-work screens encountered by the artist on a beach in Northumberland. The Reeves Studio Gift archives contain a mounted colour photograph of the actual scene, and Reeves' copper printing plate for this work is also within the Reeves Studio Gift allocation to the Royal Scottish Academy
