The artist was in Italy from Nov 2011 to Feb 2012 on a John Kinross Travel Scholarship. Photograph depicts the artist sitting centrally on a chair, between two sculpted busts of him displayed on sculptors’ pedestals. The artist modelled for a life class at Charles Cecil Studios in Florence and the busts are two examples from the session.
