A hand painted and unique Christmas card from Moodie to his friend and fellow artsit William George Gillies, evoking memories of the many sketching trips which the two undertook together. As Soden and Keller describe it; "A gift from Donald Moodie, one of his long-suffering holiday companions, is a watercolour sketch entitled "This way for the view". With good humour it encapsualtes his friend's constant urge to fimnd the scenery he needed, regardless of self and the safety of hi scompanions."
