Untitled [Three birds, tree, and reflection in pond]

One of two unrecorded lithographic prints (alongside RSA 2020.0100) from early in Michie's career which may have been printed at Edinburgh Collecge of Art, or possibly at Harley Brothers Ltd in Edinburgh which collaborated with a number of leading British artists in the late 1950s to produce limited edition artist lithographs with grant aid from the Scottish Committee of the Arts Council of Great Britain. Amongst the Scottish artists involved were Sir Robin Philipson from Edinburgh College of Art and Michie'smother, Anne Redpath.
The present work relates to drawings in pastel in Michie's sketchbook (RSA)2016.075
