Redpath’s final design for the only tapestry that she designed. The commission from Scottish Widows Fund & Life Assurance Society for its new Head Office, was seen through to completion, the finished tapestry (204 x 286 cm) being woven, not in Scotland, but at Pinton Freres in Aubusson, France.

The actual tapestry was exhibited in the Redpath Memorial Exhibition 1965 organized by the Scottish Committee of the Arts Council of Great Britain (cat.59) and again in the SNPG’s Anne Redpath 1895-1965 (2 Nov 1996-17 Jan 1997) (cat.59, illus col in cat pl.48).

Another two previously unpublished watercolour and gouache studies by Redpath in one of the assembled sketchbooks of her work from the David Alan Redpath Michie RSA Bequest have been tentatively identified by the RSA Documentation Officer as being earlier studies for this tapestry.
