Copy of the painting in the Louvre after Paolo Veronese. The title of the original painting is 'The Wedding Feast at Cana' and is dated to 1562 - 1563. It was originally painted for the refectory of the monastery of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice.

Vanni's etching of 1637 appears to be pasted to the canvas secondary support and underlies Leahy's oil painting which has been painted directly ontop of the print

Rossi was the publisher, on 1637-12-23, of Vanni's etching which appears to lie ontop of the secondary canvas support and thus provides the primary support for Leahy' s painting
