Elcho Castle from the Tay

The castle is viewed from the North-East. The sketch may be related to Hill’s exhibit Elcho Castle on the River Tay, evening, which he showed at the 1848 RSA Annual exhinbition (cat. 351) or to his 1863 exhibit Elcho Castle – River Tay, twilight (cat 142) which may be the same work

The page has been removed from a sketchbook and the staining suggests possibly the same one from which 2014.335 came
