This composite work was most probably created circa 1984 reproducing earlier models, drawings and photographs. The colour photographs are contemporary with the creation of the Diploma Work (confirmed by architect). Steedman has exhibited designs for some of the houses at the RSA Annual Exhibition in 1969 catalogue number 313 "The Principal's House, Stirling" (in collboration with James Morris) in 1976 at the RSA 150th Anniversary Exhibition catalogue number 11 "Prinicipal's House, Stirling University", reproduced as a black and white plate on page 91 of this catalogue, and in 1981 catalogue number 259 "St Andrews University, a new house for the Principal - competition entry."
