Wee Fairy

The artist embarked on a series of small linocut prints under the generic title of the "Wee series" for an exhibition at Ewan Mundy's Glasgow Gallery in 1990. Over the years in excess of 100 different "wee" subjects were executed.
The image of the present work was selected by the artist for his personal family Christmas Card, and subsequently he was approached by the Friends of the RSA for permission to use the image for the Friends' Christmas card in 2017 alongside 2027.137 and 2017.139.
This is the actual original print supplied by the artist from which digital images were made for the Friends' Christmas card.
