Untitled, plain triangular locking wedge

Sculptor: Rand, Keith John, RSA · 1956-2013

Locking wedges such as this formed a critical part of some of Rand’s works where he needed to hold steam bent elements in position by the use of small wooden wedges. He took great care in the design and making of these component parts. Here it is a simple geometric design, but he incorporated human and animal features into others.
