Cranston, Andrew, RSA

b. 1969

The artist was a painting graduate of Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen and the recipient in 1993 of an RSA John Kinross Travel Scholarship. In 2000 Cranston was the winner of the Alastair Salvesen Art Scholarship and undertook his travels to Scandinavia. He was subsequently elected an Academician of the RSA on 2009-09-30, becoming only the third former Kinross Scholar to be so honoured.
