Cherna with Sketchbook

Artist: Schotz, Benno, RSA · 1891-1984

The work depicts the artist's first child and only daughter, Cherna seated in their Glasgow home drawing in a sketchbook.

The work was included as a part lot with another pen and ink drawing of Dryads, as Lot 192 in the Christies Scotland Benno Schotz Studio Sale, 1997-09-24, estimate £200-300 unsold.
