Artist: Gillies, William George, Sir, CBE RA RSA PPRSW · 1898-1973

This is probably a work executed whilst a student at Edinburgh College of Art and emulates a coloured linocut or woodcut print. It makes interesting comparison with a similarly executed work in the collection of Perth Museum and Art Gallery by John Guthrie Spence Smith RSA whilst a student at ECA of the Servitor of the College of Art
