Paessaggio in Linea – Firenze
Artist: Bolton, Georgina · b. 1987
Image shows an organic black lined form flowing from bottom right to top left. The form is composed of tightly arranged lines, shapes and patterns and appears to be derived from architecture, nature and landscape. Three distinct tree forms are visible: one to top left, two at the centre and one to bottom right. A group of arch like forms appears near bottom right. The organic lined form is bordered to top right and bottom left by a light blue that also shows through to the background.
The inspiration, drawings and process of creating this work can be found in the artist’s publication, Thoughts in Firenze, gifted by the artist with her Kinross deposit. Forms, notes and background for the work in “Acquisitions – Kinross Scholarship” file.
