This archive assemblage relates to the refurbishment and extension of King’s Cross [Railway] Station, London.

It is housed across 3 small black solander boxes. Box 1 contains; 8 of ‘Archive Photographs’ [ie prints of archival images of King’s Cross Station in 19th century] numbered A1-A8; 9 of ‘Pre-Construction Photographs’ numbered B1-B9; 21 of ‘Architectural Drawings Photographs’ numbered C1-C21; 12 of ‘Architectural Models Photographs’ numbered D1-D12; 4 of CD-Roms, their paper sleeves with typed self adhesive label attached giving the content; (1) ‘King’s Cross fly through’; (2) ‘Material in black archive solander boxes 1-3 inc’; (3) ‘King’s Cross Technical Drawings’; (4) King’s Cross BBC Documentary [‘Full Steam Ahead’, English Heritage/Oxford Film & Television]; Box 2 contains; 88 of ‘Construction Photographs’, numbered E1-E88; Box 3 contains 29 of ‘Completion Photographs’, numbered F1-F29

The photographs are individually numbered and titled on a printed self-adhesive label on the reverse.

The CD-roms (1-3) are printed in black with the business address details of John McAslan & Partners and the paper sleeves labelled [support, recto, bottom, left] as for the photographs

CD-rom (4) is printed with a still from the film and bears the details {support, recto, bottom half]; English Heritage/ FULL STEAM AHEAD/ OXFORD FILM/ & TELEVISION
