Remade Northern Library
Artist: Parry, Jacki, RSA · b. 1941
The source texts (old art book catalogues and copies of a dye manufacturers catalogue) were fed into the computer and reduced in scale before being etched onto the tissue. The materials of the work are important to the idea of the work. The tissue comes from a rare plant that is part of the Daphne family.
