At accessioning it was noted that there are stylistic comparisons with RSA 2018.022, the Memorial window to Lieutenant I F D Robertson, of the South African Air Force, featuring St Michael.

With the assistance of Ms Thalia Ashe, a South African lady who had contacted the RSA on an enquiry about an artist earlier in 2022, the window has been confirmed as being the right light of a memorial window installed in the Hermanus Anglican Church of St Peter, by Father Jerry at St Peters. The confirmation came literally 24 hours after the catalogue for the RSA's William Wilson Print/ Paint/ Glass exhibition went to the printers. The left light is that in Memory of Lt Robertson (2018.022)
