The Dreamers
This painting appears to be a copy of Albert Moore's 'Dreamers' (c.1882, Birmingham Museums Trust) rather than an original painting by Moore.
It was examined by Richard Green of York City Art Gallery, 1990-10-16, whose opinion was that it was unlikely to be by Moore because it is painted on board, and there are 'woolly' areas of painting on the drapery, tiles and the shoulder of the woman at extreme right. Nonetheless he considered it to be a very precise copy.
It is unlikely to have been done as a preparatory sketch however and the lack of references to the painting in the RSA archives suggests that it is highly unlikely to be by Moore.
It is possibly a well-observed copy by an unidentified student.
