Head of a Girl

In 1920 and in 1921 Proudfoot exhibited pieces entitled "Head of a Girl" catalogue numbers 35 and 36 respectively, one of these was the same piece as the Diploma Work, see letter in Proudfoot's deceased member file dated 1932-12-13 from him to the RSA "I have/ your note about the/ Diploma Work....I have two bronzes either of/ which may be suitable/ for the purpose. One/ is called 'Thais & Paphnutius"/ it is a group of two/ heads & has been shown/ both in the RSA and/ the RA. The other is/ 'Head of a Girl' and/ likewise has been at/ both exhibitions.." also in 1913 he exhibited two pieces at the RGI with the title "Head of a Girl".
