Kaiser’s original watercolour copy from which this print was made is signed "Eduard Kaiser copv." and was executed in 1874. It measures 41.3 x 55.3 cm (H x W) and is in the collections of the Fine Art Department, University of Leeds

The work was commonly but erroneously ascribed to Capanna, Puccio (act.c.1550)
