Abernethy Round Tower 2

Artist: Grose, Francis · 1731-1791

This view appears as Abernethy College Pl.2 in Volume two of Grose’s the Antiquities of Scotland (facing page 253) but with the figure of the woman removed and the man now accompanied by a dog. The narrative states that the view was taken from the High Road to Perth and was drawn in 1790.

The view is looking south up School Brae towards the Tower.
