Steam Boat Moored at Harbour
Artist: Johnstone, Dorothy, ARSA · 1892-1980
The location of the harbour has yet to be ascertained but it does not appear to conform to those at Lybster or Plockton which formed the subject of other of Johnstone's exhibited works around this time.
It might be Mallaig which had a distinctive timber quayside and was regularly used by steamboats.
There are two depicted, shown at different parts of the harbour and with different livery to their funnels which might help identify them.
