Addison drew his inspiration from buildings and scenes in and around his adopted Aberdeen.
Peacock Printmakers, where this print was made was entered off Peacock's Close at 26 Castle Street amongst the buildings at the top left of this view.
Another screenprint published by Peacock in 1994 as part of the Union Street Portfolio by Willie Rodger ARSA also featured The Mercat Cross
The prints were printed by Arthur Watson assisted by Donald Addison
The print carries the Peacock embossed stamp, itself designed by Addison
the paper is watermarked
