Male bust
Sculptor: Bose, Fanindra Nath, ARSA · 1888-1926
Bose was renowned for his small bronzes in which he displayed his skill as a modeller.
The sitter is likely to be Leslie Galloway, from whose family the Bose gift arrived. He often modelled for Bose's tutor Percy Portsmouth and was the nephew of Bose's Scottish wife Molly Buchan Fergusson
