Kyoto : Soft Rain

Furneaux spent a number of years living and working in Japan learning first hand the techniques of traditional Japanese woodblock printing, and the country and its Culture has remained a critical source of spiritual and cerebral sustenance.
The present print was produced in connection with travel undertaken by Furneaux to Japan on a Sir William G Gillies Members' Bursary in 2012.
Its soft palette evokes the soft rain of its title.
