The scene appears to depict a river ferry rather than a loch scene. There were a number of such ferries in Perthshire with which hill would have been familiar
the sheet carried a small embossed stamp for Delarue and Co.. The same manufacturer was responsible for 2009.017, 2009.020 and 2009.022 which have a slightly different embossed stamp.
