Artist: Collier, Matt · b. 1977
The artist, a fine art graduate of Glasgow School of Art, was in Italy in 2009 on a deferred 2008 RSA John Kinross Travel Scholarship. He made studies in La Specola museum, Florence. Paolo Mascagni was an 18th century anatomist who created wax models for La Specola. A number of images scanned from one of Matt Collier’s sketchbooks not selected for collection on CD.
