Cuthbertson, William [Willie] Alexander

1883 – 1966

A student at the RSA Life School. Cuthbertson holds the distinction of being the only person in the Academy's history to be awarded the RSA Maclaine-Watters Medal on more than a single occasion. He was first awarded the medal in 1906, and for a second time in 1908. He was also a recipient of the Carnegie Travelling Scholarship, which he used to visit France, Italy, and Spain.
