A Painting student at EdinburghCollege of Art, where her tutor was John Houston RSA, who was the recipeint of the Richard Ford Travel Award, 1987, and of an RSA John Kinross Travel Scholarship also in 1987. Since 1994 she has been an artist and art tutor based in Edinburgh. She was the recipient of the Adam Bruce Thomson Award at the RSA Annual Exhibition in 1998.
