Glover, John Hardie, RSA
1913 – 1994
John Hardie Glover trained at Edinburgh College of Art and joined the architectural practice of Leslie Graham Thomson in 1936. In 1947 he went into partnership with Basil Spence eventually forming the practice Sir Basil Spence, Glover and Ferguson. He managed the Scottish side of the practice. Amongst his many architectural projects he was responsible for a number of university buildings. He retired in 1980. He became an Associate Member of the RSA in 1969 and an Academician in 1981.
