Lawless, Rosalind
b. 1978
A Fine Art Printmaking graduate of Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen, and the recipient of an RSA John Kinross Travel Scholarship in 2002. She graduated with a Masters in Fine Art Printmaking for the Royal College of art, London in 2004. In 2012 she was one of 22 invited artists who participated in that year's RSA 186th Annual Exhibition. The curated theme of the exhibition was 'The Artist's Studio.' In 2019 she was awarded a scholarship at the the International Academy of Fine Arts, Salzburg, she was shortlisted for the AnnaLobner/Dusseldorf Exchange and was awarded the Bet Low Trust Award. Lawless was the recipient of the RSA William Littlejohn Award for Excellence and Innovation in a Water-based Medium in 2022. She teaches art part time, and exhibits regularly.
