Crabb, William
1811 – 1876
Born in Laurencekirk near Aberdeen. He exhibited at the RSA AX between 1830 and 1876 from addresses in Edinburgh (1830-47), Glasgow (1848), Edinburgh (1849-50), and London (1852-76) showing mostly portraits, including of Alexander Hill, Printseller to the Royal Scottish Academy (1847) but latterly a couple of Biblical studies. He died in his native Laurencekirk.
