b. 1943

Studied History & Fine Art at Cambridge University between 1962 and 1965, then sculpture at Edinburgh College until 1971. Interested in 'lost-wax' process of casting bronze sculpture. He became an Associate Member of the RSA in 1979 and an Academician in 2005.
