Ganter, Jo, RSA
b. 1963
Trained at Edinburgh University and Edinburgh College of Art between 1983 and 1988 and obtained a postgraduate diploma in Fine Art in 1989. Ganter was the recipient of an RSA John Kinross Travel Scholarship in 1988. She began her career as an Etching Technician at Peacock Printmakers in Aberdeen in 1990 and has since been a part-time and visiting lecturer in many Universities and Art Schools in Europe and USA, including most recently at Glasgow School of Art and Edinburgh College of Art. She was elected an Associate Member of the RSA in 2004 and an Academician in 2005.
