Forbes, Ronald, RSA
b. 1947
Trained at Edinburgh College of Art between 1964 and 1969 and awarded a postgraduate scholarship in 1968- 1969. Founded the Glasgow League of Artists in 1971. Head of Crawford School of Art in Cork 1974-1978. Head of Painting at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee from 1983 to 2001. Elected an Associate of the RSA in 1996 and an Academician in 2005.
