Howe, James

1780 – 1836

Renowned for his drawings of horses.

The first monograph devoted to Howe by A D Cameron, 'James Howe The man Who Loved to Draw Horses' was published by Aberdeen University Press in 1986.

Several publications have since followed by John and Eilean Malden.

Copies of these are held in RSA Library.
