Harrison, Kenzie
A graduate in Architecture with Urban Planning from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee and the recipient of an RSA John Kinross Travel Scholarship in 2023.
Her experience of travel to Florence partially informed the text of her first published book, 'Curiosities of the Cityscape; A Wanderer’s Anthology,' which was self-published in 2024.
Harrison has written of her practice; "As an architecture student & artist, I use art in practice to reflect social and cultural values of the communities we serve, whilst pushing boundaries of what is possible in the built environment........My practice lies beyond creating functional spaces but creating environments with a sense of place and identity whilst also protecting existing ones. Acknowledging we are here as condition makers; creating environments for people to flourish, an understanding of the history of place is essential to progressive design."
