Lintott, Henry John, RSA

1877 – 1965

Studied at the Royal College of Art in South Kensington. He came to Edinburgh and was appointed to the teaching staff at Edinburgh College of Art in 1902 and taught there for over forty years. He founded the 'Edinburgh School' with Gillies, Maxwell and Redpath. He exhibited at the RSA Annual Exhibitions from 1905 until 1965. He became an Associate Member in 1916 and an Academican in 1923.
